What's in Store for 2009?

A new year is upon us and it is time to start thinking about what we are going to do over the year. Give a bit more purpose to your daily rides by having a few fun and exciting rides or events on your schedule. Try and do something new and go somewhere you have never been as well. For us, we are looking at a few 100 mile MTB epics, maybe a team 24 hour event and a multi day ride where we camp along the way. We will try and win some like Paskenta, the Lemurian or a summer Hill Climb, and we will try and SURVIVE some like a Pro Road stage race or the Cascade Cream Puff!!. So get together with your buddies, take a look at the schedule and let people know your plans and we will love to support!!

Fully recovered from last weekend so here comes the next round!! "Tunnels!!" plus another go at Pentz Rd on the fixed gear. Plenty of time to fit in a few big ones with your buddies to get ready!! Be there!!

Cutty Round 2 TUNNELS!!

Round 1 was so much fun we had to do another before the "real" racing started so here it is! Saturday January 12th at 9:00 AM, One Mile. Straight to the HWY 70 Tunnels and back. Around 80 miles. Good stuff. The flier should be floating around. Be there!

Today Northrim Tyler held a sweet little 'Cross race in North Chico. Great course and epic battles, as usual. Team Chico swept the top 3 and lead the group through several rounds of pushups!! Hope it can happen again. We'll keep our ears out!

Cutty Training Series

So the second anual Cutty Training Series has come and went already, but not without some epic bicycle action! All the true players came out for a weekend ofpure riding...off the beaten path. A huge thanks for everyone who came out and gave it a shot. Keep on trying! Also a big hand to Rodney for his usual support of local cycling!! So fun there is a rumor of a round 2!!! See you next year!

MTB Race this weekend

The LaGrange Fall Classic is this weekend! Oct 19,20 and 21. Super-d, XC, dirt crit and DH. ALL RIPPING SINGLE TRACK ACTION! Camping too! A true MTB race. Hope to see you out. Winner is crowned Ca State Champion!

After years of people telling me I should put up a site or get into the blogging world, well here it is. While most of us here at Team Chico would rather ride than talk about riding on the computer, I figured It would be good to let everyone know what we were up to every now and again, give a little pub to our sponsors, and fill in fellow cyclists on cool rides and events coming up. So check in. Maybe you will get some results and a pic, a story from a good ride or the scoop on a sweet race that you shouldn't miss (like one with sick climbs or ripping single track, not around some field!). Hope it works out!
